Returning Player..had a question about the GW store - Guild Wars Forums

Merry X-mas all or a bah humbug to some of ya (like me)!!

Prolly a noobish question but I just reinstalled GW on to my computer...and my question is regardling the unlock skills you can purchase at the GW store. Are they like special unlocks that you can not get anywhere? Or is it just a convience thing that they are offering. Same regarding the PvP unlocks and items? Just wondering if it was worth it to purchase anything from the store..espically when I am really starting to get back into the game

Nothing special, just a convenience thing for those who don't want to try to unlock them all themselves.

It's a speed unlock for people who want to PvP immediately or for those who own all the campaigns but don't want to have to go out and cap all the skills.

Every skill that's been unlocked will be accessible to your heroes, and that can really make for some beefed up heroes. Your toon however, will still have to cap them, buy them from skill trainers or 'learn' them with a tome.

It does however, make skills offered by skill trainers available earlier.

But otherwise, not really worth it if you're not all that into the PvP scene.

Doesn't take to long to unlock the skills you want. Getting faction isn't to hard.
